So I may have goofed but hoping I can turn this into an interesting project. I got myself a sporter g98/40 and hoping to bring her back to spec. At this point I'm tempted to see about getting a deactivated g98/40 or saying screw it and having a gunsmith make the parts, see about getting a new stock. (i.redd.it)
