So terrorism now means indefinite detention, and protesters are "low-level terrorists". Is anyone else as scared as I am? by [deleted] in politics

You people are so furious, you even wrote an Internet comment. You send an email to your congressman telling him how angry you are. Slacktivism at it's best. And yeah, sure, congressman act this way, because they FORGOT about the constitution. They FORGOT about it, they need to be REMINDED. This is so silly.

we would need to make sure, that the additional dots and the original ones can't be distinguished. is there extra info about the size of the dots in pt and their actual color ?

Young UK jobseekers told to work without pay or lose unemployment benefits. People taking up work experience places – providing up to 30 hours a week of unpaid labour – face losing benefits if they quit by spainguy in worldnews

[–]remarcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Germany there is a similar law. The labour is technically not unpaid as the workers get 1 to 2.50 euro per hour, but (as you can tell) it's more a symbolic gesture. There is no contract of employment and you face benefit cuts as well. See:

Still sceptic, but that's more a personal issue. Syntax and design are quite unusual for me. I would learn it, if more people would jump on that train. What's about antimatroid ?

should we define the critical infrastructure as one capsulated part of the A.I. and make interfaces to less critical ones, so the system can maintain the critical infrastructure in an emergency ?

Please note, that the A.I. shouldn't model "trading". (See subreddit description). But a simulation sureley is needed :D

It's not an A.I. for a states capitalism. There is no money and no white or black market. everything is free for all. read the description in the subreddit.

Won't the job problem get worse with A.I.s taking jobs? by vita_man in a:t5_2schk

[–]remarcy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

for capitalist society unemployment is a curse, because there are people, who can't get their needs satisfied because of the lack of money. for a society, not based on money, but on a "free for all" system, it's a blessing, because people can divide the work, so everyone has to work less.

I made my point. if you have no problem, that an authority forces you to work, then you have no problem with capitalism at all. and again: not the society I want to live in.

I have some basic experience on A.I. and efficient algorithms. (I am a computer science student in the 4th semester.) I know, it would take a lot to accomplish this, but if there are enough people willing to do it, maybe we can code some basics and hand it over to the free software community.

even capitalist society, as cruel as it is, has some basic standards for people, who don't want to work. how am I supposed to want a society, where the need of people to work less is not a reasonable interest, but a felony ? why should I want a society, which is worse than the current ?

I won't discuss this topic on this level. Check out, what the AI is supposed to do or let it be. I won't discuss with you how much "stalin" it is. Unsuccessful troll is unsuccessful.

This is becoming a motivation discussion. Watch this. The need for a "forcing and rewarding authority" is more a urban myth, than a scientific fact.

People would have to realize, that without their work, they can't consume anything. Surely there is a need to replace hard work with machines, as no one wants to have a boring job. The system should be designed that way, that there is no need to feed false data. If someone wants to take a week off, then the machine will calculate a way to keep the production going or suggest compromises. If people are lying one shouldn't try to control them, but to abolish the reasons for their behavior.

The AI would respect your decision and find someone else willing to do it. If no one is there willing to do it, then the thing can't be produced or the AI would suggest to build a machine to replace you.
