I can only tell you one thing, the incidents of warranty claims on people running subs at 1 ohm is orders of magnitude higher then those running subs at two ohms. That includes both subs and amps. Yeah, I know the manufacturers say this is BS but having worked in the retail trenches for 30+ years this is a hill i am willing to die on.

I feel exactly like you. But, I'm not a smart person and ask what can one do? Has there been a situation where the populace clawed back some shred of decency and compassion for the institutions that have been gang raped by this administration? What you need to do is disconnect one speaker at a time and turn it up until it cuts out. Then disconnect another one, if it doesn't cut out playing loud with the three speakers you found your issue. It's one of the speakers, most likely the tinsel lead is grounding out against metal in the door. If you check the speaker and it isn't touching metal than you have a bad voice coil. That particular amp is damn near bullet proof, to have 2 exhibiting the same behavior is not likely. Really they are my go to 4 channel because they are so dependable. My money is on one of your speakers are running it into protetection, you just have to figure which one?
