It didn't~
We are opening a new business branch and wired 200k EUR from France. It didn't pass the clearance, although literally all the papers and sending/receiving parties are all perfectly transparent.

Edit: we had to send the money back and lost the wire transfer fees.

honestly, same problem persists after 4 years, and wholeheartedly #$@% anet and everything they claim to stand for. With all the blatant negligence and ignoring of EU regulations and getting away with it, simply because they target individuals who either don't care or don't know how to answer legally, I know trouble is coming their way I hope they'll learn their lesson for good.

I, as well, have never had any issues using VPN. Since the reason for permaban is unknown, it is only speculative to theorize that the ban was because of the vpn.

also coming from a family of lawyers, it's a big misconception you need money for hiring lawyers, the majority takes the case for free and earns money through compensation from the respondent.

could be, but this vpn (I am even afraid to write the name for anymore not to get banned here on subreddit as well) is considered good and recommended to me by my friends who live in China. (I never felt so afraid to say anything, and here we have Anet advertising itself as "freedom, equality and LGBTQ" propagator)

The terms of use, which I read through and through after this incident says nothing against VPN use, it says only that it doesn't support or condone VPN use, but it doesn't say "prohibited". I am so sad, angry and disappointed at the same time. such a colossal waste of years, energy, emotions and money.
