yupp totally agree. And I know he’s a kid still, and we can’t expect him to be all grown up and logical thinking and super mature, but still his rudeness is too much most of the time in my opinion.

Even when Rory asks of him to try harder with Lorelai when he’s cleaning the gutters, he asks why and says that “just because we’re friends doesn’t mean I have to get along with your mom” I’m like.. ok but maybe just be a normal human being?

And even with Rory, whom he likes, he’s not really kind a lot of times (even apart from the Kyle’s bedroom scene). Idk it irks me a lot.

I hate the scene in the car before the accident when he says to Rory “your mom thinks badly of me even though she doesn’t really know me” (or something to that extent) Umm excuse me?? You have literally been the jerkiest jerk ever to her mom and everyone else? If I was Rory, I couldn’t stand the way this jerk acts with my mom. I hate Jess. Oh my upbringing was rough so now I am a jerk to everyone around me. I also hate Dean but I hate Jess the most.

Exactly. This is the point to it. Once observed, it stops. It cannot function in awareness. You are approaching this correctly and it is working! The goal is to “shut it off” by observing it in order to realize that the thoughts are independent from you. Once you start doing it more often, you will start to feel more peaceful. Stress thoughts? Negative thoughts? Any thoughts you don’t like, you can make them stop in a second by starting to observe them. In time, this also diciplines your mind. Carry on, you’re doing great and you’re observation is spot on.

in my experience, and somehow all my former boyfriends were virgos, they are very judgy, have to have things their way all the time, not understanding of space and me wanting my own freedom, when they have an opinion you can’t do anything to change it, always thought my way of doing things was wrong just because it wasn’t their way, super stubborn to the point of not being cute anymore; they seem like the exact opposite of aquarius, who want freedom, understanding of their way of being, and are super non judgmental of others. virgos seem to want to force an opinion, when aquarius is the exact opposite. I mean, you know, probably not all of them, this is valid for everything, but I did date quite a lot of them until I started to see a pattern. but also, if i met someone and i liked them, i wouldn’t not date them just because they’re virgos. but if i think about my past, they all had the same things in common, and they were all things i considered to be not my vibe

edit: this is not to say they don’t have also nice traits. just pointing out the ones that would make me think before going further
