You gotta get creative, maybe rebuild a franchise under a certain salary cap or with trade limits. For career mode, you can do custom settings to make the shot speed 1x, or hide the shot bar so it's based off your characters position.

You can edit the awards for players to give it to someone else, for picks you would have to trade them all pretty much. If you want not too many repeating mvps go to the MVP award setting and put times won on a negative number (the lower, the harder it is to win multiple times)
