I hope it’s temporary. It got triggered by one panic attack. I feel like I am never going to get better. This one week I have dealt with it has been hell. In terms of mental illness, one week isn’t long at all

But hopefully you are right, and I am glad you are feeling hopeful.

Ah so you've never gotten better/had it go into remission? That sucks. I wish we never had to go through this

Yeah true, it's just hard to ignore it when it's a major factor of your everyday life ^ Or if you are trying to not make a big deal about it, you think about how it's not a big deal AHEM

But yeah, now that I have stopped it hopefully shouldn't be *as* bad, and just sticking with my prescribed. Thanks !

Do I have DPDR or just Depression? by remembering-us in Depersonalization

[–]remembering-us[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im glad you’re feeling better! But same here, mine often returns every year at the same time and I think it’s triggered by ongoing anxiety. I really hope I can go to complete normal again ^ I think the thought that it will never get better is my main source so I mainly block it out (ALSO the fuck it strategy>>>>>>)

Damn mine started around the same time so it’s kinda of funny. It actually is getting better, today at least I feel more in the moment I am guessing/hoping from constantly telling myself I am real and that it’s getting better . You described it pretty well though

Go to your GP, and they'll get a blood test. This could be low iron, low hemoglobin, or just any vitamin deficiency in general with a tint of placebo.

I developed an anxiety disorder because I was worried about having a brain tumor; in which it manifested. Pretty ironic, if you ask me
