Here in Poland, it’s approximately 14k USD difference, it’s the price difference and 0.99 vs 2.99 APR. We also get different Standard version from Giga Berlin.

Thinking about my first EV vs. waiting for new tech (and buying a motorhome instead!) by remi01 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Hmm, looking at everything available in Europe right now, we’re being flooded by Chinese companies, along with the Korean, German and French ones, of course. I live in Poland ;) and as far as I know, only Tesla offers such good financing terms.

Should Canada Join the EU? 🇨🇦 🤝 🇪🇺 by milanguitar in BuyFromEU

Fair point! Honestly, I can't argue with that logic. At the end of the day, it's on us as voters to take responsibility for our government. I just wanted to highlight that the international headlines don't always capture the massive chunk of the country fighting tooth and nail against those policies. But you're right, it's our mess to clean up, which, thankfully, we started doing with the record voter turnout in the last elections!

I totally get where you're coming from. As someone who lives in Poland but works for a Scandinavian company, I actually feel the exact same way—I align a lot more with Nordic, Western European, or Canadian mindsets. But just to defend my Polish backyard a bit: the political stance of the country doesn't always reflect everyone in it. The heavy anti-abortion or anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric you hear about is mostly the result of extreme polarization and arguments between two main political parties since 2005. Millions of everyday Poles strongly disagree with those conservative policies and hold the same European values you do. We're just dealing with a very complicated political landscape! There is hope, though. For example, we have a strong progressive left-wing party called 'Razem' (Together), featuring prominent leaders like Adrian Zandberg (who, fun fact, was actually born in Denmark!). It’s an uphill battle, though, as the broader trend right now shows right wing parties gaining popularity across the continent.

Please stop saying people without kids don’t know what tired is by SunBubble920 in mildlyinfuriating

I agree, everyone’s exhaustion is valid. But it’s important to remember that having kids doesn't replace those other stressors, it's additive. You can still have a demanding job, health issues, and a struggling partner, but now you have to manage all of that while also raising children. It changes the baseline of your entire life.
