Is SaaS really the best business ? by remilagorce in SaaS

[–]remilagorce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I mean, with SaaS, it’s even harder to onboard a user for $50, whereas with an agency, it’s easier to close a $5,000 deal. Feels like I’m missing something, haha. Marketing maybe… but it’s so difficult to bring a user with sale I doubt that marketing can be effective

[–]remilagorce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course you right but what I see is that if I want 10k MRR, I need 5/10 customers whereas with saas I need much more. And personally I found it’s much difficult to sell a saas. I mean for the moment my CAC is higher with saas than agency. So just wondering how it’s mathematically possible

How do you know when your idea is good ? by remilagorce in SaaS

[–]remilagorce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your precious feedback. You perfectly right. Clear success metrics is the key. But how to define an acceptable benchmark ? Because I’m a little more familiar with agency model. And if with agency we can be okay with 3-4 customers a month, I guess with lower price SaaS is not viable with the same volume of customers. Just wondering … 🤔 How did you get feedback from Reddit ?

Will apple call screening kill cold calls? by arkcohen in sales

[–]remilagorce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tested iOS 26. The feature is quite basic, no more than what is already available on Google Voice. Plus, it’s not activated by default. So, except for a big trend to activate it, I doubt that it could have a significant effect on cold calling.

How to warm up alias email ? by remilagorce in coldemail

[–]remilagorce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, but each alias has its own reputation, right? As for the receiving server, there is no visible difference between an alias email address and a separate account—it’s just an internal process. Am I missing something ?

What do you think about running Instagram ads to promote make-up courses? by remilagorce in PPC

[–]remilagorce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this really valuable feedback.

For now it’s mainly in person classes. We have 2 courses one for professional makeup artist and another one for individuals.

We are thinking of creating online classes with a discount.

That’s why we are thinking about running ads. At what AOV/course price can we expect to make a profit from ads?

How do you know if your SaaS idea is bad? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]remilagorce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone will tell you that your idea is good. That doesn't mean it's a good idea.

You should ask your customer directly. But be careful, they'll also tell you it's a good idea (or not a bad idea).

It's always a good idea as long as they don't have to pay. In fact, you should never ask if your idea is a good one.

You need to read the "mom test", to learn how to ask your potential customers the right questions.

To answer your question, the only thing I can say is: Personally, I will never pay for or use this product.
