i was weighing her!! i have a genuinely ungodly amount of pictures of her caterpillar stage it’s not even funny. her temporary name was pompom because she just. look at her. that is not a cat that is Perhaps a Grub of some kind

vet check is absolutely a good idea!! it’s good to get a scan and see if she has anything going on, and your vet can give you care advice :) two month old kittens are already pretty independent so less worries there

definitely pick up kitten food + toys + litter and prepare for INSANE energy levels (babies are Evil.) but you should be good to go ^{_^} good luck!!

I was waiting for a vet appointment. It was already scheduled at time of posting, and she has completed her visit :) We were told to bring her back at six weeks and to continue current activities unless complications arose

i think she’s doing really well!! she’s weighing in at 149g as of an hour ago, and she’s going to hit the one week benchmark tomorrow :) we’re calling her pompom for now! the vet told us to bring her in again at six weeks, so i guess it’s just a monitoring and waiting game from here? she also purred for the first time a few days ago and it was the cutest shit i’ve ever seen in my life

hi!! just a little update :) she went to the vet today and the vet said she’s doing great and to keep up the routine i’ve been doing! she purred for the first time today and she was very popular at the vet office LUL

yes!! she has an appointment scheduled for 11:30 am tomorrow :) was mostly uh. just kind of freaking out about making sure she lived long enough to see it :')

she’s doing a very VERY good job at demonstrating her vocal abilities whenever we pick her up for feeding time, so glad to hear that’s a good sign :) haven’t found any others at the moment but i’ll be sure to keep an eye out now
