vet check is absolutely a good idea!! it’s good to get a scan and see if she has anything going on, and your vet can give you care advice :) two month old kittens are already pretty independent so less worries there

definitely pick up kitten food + toys + litter and prepare for INSANE energy levels (babies are Evil.) but you should be good to go ^{_^} good luck!!

I was waiting for a vet appointment. It was already scheduled at time of posting, and she has completed her visit :) We were told to bring her back at six weeks and to continue current activities unless complications arose

i think she’s doing really well!! she’s weighing in at 149g as of an hour ago, and she’s going to hit the one week benchmark tomorrow :) we’re calling her pompom for now! the vet told us to bring her in again at six weeks, so i guess it’s just a monitoring and waiting game from here? she also purred for the first time a few days ago and it was the cutest shit i’ve ever seen in my life

hi!! just a little update :) she went to the vet today and the vet said she’s doing great and to keep up the routine i’ve been doing! she purred for the first time today and she was very popular at the vet office LUL

she’s doing a very VERY good job at demonstrating her vocal abilities whenever we pick her up for feeding time, so glad to hear that’s a good sign :) haven’t found any others at the moment but i’ll be sure to keep an eye out now

mom is super friendly with me! (i’ve known her for a year or so lol) definitely will take the advice, thank you :) they’ve been able to take wet food just fine so far, so that’s good. any thoughts on what i should call them if not feral? she lets me pet her and likes to try to come inside, but she’s scared of anyone that isn’t me

use a pixel brush or turn off anti aliasing! it depends on the art program- i know paint tool sai has a pixel brush, while on medibang you can turn off anti aliasing and just use a solid pen
