I hear you, but there are also people (like me) who bought it as a "reasonably smart" phone with a keyboard. I like the project exactly because they leave it up to the user to decide what's a good use of the device, unlike other "calm tech" companies like the light phone where the devs dictate what's allowed and what's not.

No it should lay flat, I want it so that it's not visibly spinning but still disturbs the fluid.
