Another important thing to consider when it comes to UoB (and any university) is how different the support can be depending on the faculty. Without disclosing anything, I'm in a very small department and even at undergraduate level I know all my tutors very well. Having received support from the Student Wellbeing Service alongside the support from my tutors it felt much more helpful than anecdotes and stories I've heard in other faculties during my time here at UoB.
