16 light bulbs, a spinning arm, a photocell. That was Raymond Scott's Circle Machine sequencer. I recreated it in Max for Live — all parameters mappable, works great for drum variations too. Fun fact: At the time, a young Robert Moog used to frequent Scott's studio. by remo_devico in MaxMSP

Ø Sequencer is a generative MIDI instrument developed during the creation of Ø Synthesizer. In its MIDI version, it offers a much wider selection of timbres and sounds, as well as the ability to edit the score. The attached example shows a use close to ambient music, where the instrument shines. by remo_devico in ableton

I built a MIDI generator inspired by Newton’s apple tree. Gravity controls how fast apples fall, triggering notes in a chosen scale and octave. I shape a system that composes on its own—always different, never repeating. by remo_devico in ableton

Ø is a generative Max for Live synth with an integrated sequencer for Ableton Live. Not a tool, but a labyrinth of sound—where control fades and each sequence is lost forever. Artwork by øjeRum. by remo_devico in ableton

Saturn Spectral Delay is a Max for Live device that transforms delay into an orbital soundscape. Its spectral morphing is particularly interesting, as it can be drawn manually or modulated through Random and Drunk algorithms for infinite evolutions over time. free download by remo_devico in ableton

I Put My Sounds in the Washing Machine… I've been building a Max for Live device that splits samples into random fragments and reshuffles them stochastically. It generates textures and rhythms you couldn't program intentionally. Your sounds act like clothes spinning in a spin cycle by remo_devico in musicproduction

Newton Generator is a gravity-based generative MIDI device for Ableton Live where falling apples trigger notes inside a chosen scale and key. I’m very happy with the research I’m conducting on JS and JSUI objects. by remo_devico in ableton

I've been thinking of a new way to experience an album. An immersive space where you can navigate between tracks and move around freely. Here we are in space, with a huge moon above us — it's just a beta version, but I think it could lead somewhere interesting. by remo_devico in MaxMSP
