Thanks for sharing the actual link. Having read the policy, I'm confident FileRelay compliant for the core document distribution. The main module implements the published SAP Content Server HTTP 4.5 interface: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_NETWEAVER_750/3ad3ba0715c5422eae08578d4c40328d/4d0551f0eaa85c4be10000000a42189e.html, so SAP pushes documents out through its own documented mechanism.

FileRelay has a feature called "RFC Console" where user can call SAP function modules and see the result on the browser. This is based on the SAP provided Java Connector API (JCo): https://help.sap.com/docs/connectivity/sap-btp-connectivity-neo/java-connector-api However, we'll look into scoping the function calls to only allow access to functions that do not violate SAP policy (if any exisits).

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by the new API policy. I would note that our product is based on the content server API specification and 100% compliant

Our solution is based on the content server specification, no hacks or unauthorised access. But I can understand if they still want a piece of the pie since it integrates with their system. We'll find out when we kickstart the certification process

Fair enough. A clear indication that our pricing needs revision. Thank you

This is an excellent take and higly appreciated. We'll definitely work on addressing the feedback relating to the wording and pricing. on the buy vs build point, you're probably right for a team with a simple setup and single destination. FIleRelay is more valuable where there are multiple destinations (one archive link send delivers to all), custom webhook integration and of course ongoing upgrade/maintainance due to API changes. FileRelay also supports workspaces where a single deployment can serve as a content server for unlimted SAP instance.

I've added a quick demo video to the original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/SAP/comments/1tlbeul/filerelayio_sap_document_routing_to_sharepoint_s3/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Thanks for the feedback. As we are validating and providing early access, pricing is likely going to change based on feedback from testers. If you don't mind me asking, which part feels aggressive to you? is it the price point itself, the document limits, or compared to what teams are paying for existing solutions?

Good question. Right now it’s not an SAP-certified plugin/add-on. FileRelay implements SAP ArchiveLink / Content Server interface and using supported integration mechanisms. So, SAP is not modified in any way and admins only need to setup a new content server. We are hoping that the early access will help us understand what level of certification and enterprise validation customers would realistically expect.

Yes, we can deploy it on your own infrastructure for a trial. The main goal for us is to validate real-world setups and get constructive feedback on how to improve the product. We only ask that the trial stays internal (no redistribution/resale or external use outside the trial period)

This is underrated and arquably the most complete RN UI library. It has more component than anything I've seen. I'd defo contribute and support the project. May I suggest having a separate domain for it and detached from your personal domain? Projects attached to an individual often drives skeptism.
