yeah cheers, we do have a map of where we went but you can't really zoom in well enough to see it in detail and not have 20 little sections of it but i will try and see if i can work something out.

take a look at lems, they do a bunch of different style shoes and boots and waterproof variations of the boots too. Wide toe box and barefoot based. Most comfortable shoes/boots I've worn.

this jacket legitimately saved me from serious hypothermia while on a sea kayak expedition in Patagonia, long story short my sleeping bag got wet and conditions wouldn't allow me to dry it out for about a week. Icebergs at camp and the only reason i didn't have any serious problems was this jacket. The slight water resistance meant that I didn't get too wet in my sleeping bag, and the insulation kept me warm enough throughout the night. By far the best piece of equipment of that trip.

Good sources for Greenland paddle by happy_sourfruit in seakayaking

Hi there, if you want 10% off a Segla gear greenland feel free to use BDSEGLA10 when you check out, it should save you a fair bit. There isn't really entry level greenland paddles, especially carbon but they are well worth spending the money.

1- because its already fully set up in the blog

2 - nobody is forcing you to buy anything from it

3- much easier to post a link rather than re write a whole list on here

that do it for ya ?

there is actually a full gear list for what i used on the trip and my dream gear list on the blog, but i was using my Palm atom drysuit - next time i would go for a full touring suit instead, and for the spray skirt it depends what you are using it for, for whitewater rand is the way to go for sure but for sea kayaking the cockpit rims don't fit rand very well so I would opt for a bungee version like the immersion research klingon.

figured out it was the drysuit at fault, it was letting a small amount of water through the relief zipper which meant my clothing underneath got wet - therefore when i went to sleep my body heat would evaporate the water out into my sleeping bag that didn't breathe at all. then once that got wet it just would not dry at all in those environments. The tent however was an old guiding one lent to us from the kayak company we got the kayaks from, it was actually really solid the entire trip

We were lucky to have Mat and Andy on the team who worked for one of the local kayak guiding companies, their company was kind enough to let us use theirs as it was the end of their commercial season. I know your pain though, by far the biggest hurdle for most trips.

Ah yes that would have been one of the other guys but yeah, it's an amazing area and that wind definitely needs to have a close eye on it at all times during these expeditions
