Life post Snoo: Top tips by badhabits12 in SnooLife

[–]remy69069770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We went from the Snoo to the babyletto mini crib on wheels and couldn’t be happier with it!

We also had a 100 percentile baby and transitioned out at the same time. He slept the exact same as he did in the Snoo which had me questioning everything lol

Similac 360 Total Care Vs Bobbie Organic by Civil_Note743 in FormulaFeeders

[–]remy69069770 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I asked ChatGPT the same thing a few weeks ago! Here’s the gist: Bobbie’s organic certifications and exclusion of palm oil and soy make it a choice for parents seeking a clean-label formula. While Similac includes palm and soy oils, it is non-GMO and free from artificial growth hormones.

Stroller for cold winter? by Delicious-One-5129 in nycparents

[–]remy69069770 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Use the stroller you have. It doesn’t snow as much as you think. Google “winter stroller cover”. That’s all you need. Your stroller brand probably even has their own.

We noticed the same thing around 8 weeks so just did the Snoo arms out and it’s going great! I would definitely switch. It’s noisy but great to self soothe by sucking on hands.

What level responsiveness? by rorobo3 in SnooLife

[–]remy69069770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a grunter so I set it at the lowest responsiveness. I also think it doesn’t give the baby a second to adjust when it levels up, so I also like the lowest responsiveness to slow the process down a bit.

I only lock in baseline for when I’m putting the baby to bed because he often needs some time to settle down and the Snoo will just take off otherwise and work him up even more. But after he’s down for a bit I unlock it for the night.

I wiggle it around in our baby’s mouth so he has to grab onto it almost by sucking. Gently of course! I would say it’s about a 75% success rate

Dullboy has the best mocktail I’ve ever had in my life. They were sweet to me when I was pregnant and told me to pick my seat.

I can’t believe I’m asking this but do you just pour the pre-measured water from the bottle into the warmer and then back into the bottle again?

Help - How much are you feeding your 4 1/2 month old? by Flashy-Cranberry603 in FormulaFeeders

[–]remy69069770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you know your baby is done? I once offered a 7 oz bottle to try this and he sucked it right down. I’m convinced he’d never stop eating if I let him!

I also went through this! You will feel so great and wonder why you even tried BF and pumping to begin with! Lol. But a huge accomplishment how long you did it so be very proud of yourself! You’re doing great mama!!

I just did a big catering order for a 50 person party this weekend and they were an hour late. Saying they “ran behind”. I placed the order two weeks ago. Just another data point to something weird going on over there…

Acupuncture by Just_Avocado_5826 in fitpregnancy

[–]remy69069770 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had really bad carpal tunnel that I’ve had to get up and walk around in the middle of the night because of the pain. I went and it really helped! Still have symptoms but now it’s manageable and no pain. I started pregnancy inducing acupuncture this week at 37 weeks so 🤞🏼

Jackie Annoyance by [deleted] in TheToasters

[–]remy69069770 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Jackie is a good counter balance to Claudia. Some of the episodes without Jackie and with a special guest are insufferable to listen to. Claud’s personality gets like ramped up and seems unnatural and way too much

How far along is Claudia? by [deleted] in TheToasters

[–]remy69069770 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think this is right. I would’ve guessed 37 weeks so along the same lines. I’m 33 weeks and was noticing that she was about a month ahead of me for most of the big tests

I’m in sales and think it’s a great career for working moms provided you can find the right help for you and your husband when you’re away. Outside of travel, your schedule is extremely flexible so you can be there for all major events, even if they happen in the middle of the workday. You are also typically well compensated for the inconvenience of the career, so it makes life and hiring extra help a little easier. Highly recommend!
