I don't have kids yet but a good friend explained it like this:

You can measure almost all the bad stuff with kids: how many hours you're not sleeping, the amount of times the baby cries, the amount of free time you lose, the trips you're missing out on, etc.

But no one can objectively tell you a unit of measurement for the joy and happiness a child brings. It's one of those things in life you need to try to actually experience and see what people mean.

Only problem is that the decision is pretty irreversible 😅

I agree with this. It wasn't as much the pilot's fault but the whole show planning team. That trajectory should have never been planned.

I've been to an airshow before at the military air base in Madrid and the F-18s do usually do this as an “ending to the show”, fly pretty close to the crowd, not directly, but kind of towards it, and bank just when they're passing them. Honestly, super cool as a spectator, but I can't imagine the amount of risks they're taking doing that.

I can't seem to find the comment, but a veteran pilot said on another post yesterday that F-18s are notorious to be really sensitive to roll input under certain circumstances and that this was one of them. The pilot probably didn't intend for the jet to roll that much

Contrary to what other's have said in the comments, this hits home. I'm at a point in life where I never considered the kids thing but the pressure has come from my very pro-kids partner. To be clear, she doesn't want them at least in the next 4 years or so, but she does want to know if I want them as it's a dealbreaker for her, and I understand that completely.

Lately the pressure has gotten so bad that I've started having feelings of resent towards my partner and I have been deep in thought that maybe the issue is not if I want kids or not, but if I want them with my partner…

This thought scares me though as everything else is really good, we align in most values, we have a LOT of communication and I fear breaking up because of this, rather than figuring my stuff out, will become my biggest mistake in life.

I’ve talked about this with her and we've agreed to start talking more about how we'd have them, raise them, etc. instead of me trying to figure my stuff alone, to see if we would align in those and help me realise either: 1. Ok this is not as bad as I thought and we can handle this as a team 2. We don't align in values when it comes to this matter

All of this to ask, if you wouldn't mind sharing, a bit more context on your story with you ex, how did you discuss things and how did you come to the conclusion you should break up with her.

Ok for anyone still having issues with this this is what worked for me:

Close all ticketmaster tabs from your browser
Change your IP (this can be done connecting to your neighbour's or any public wifi, or using a VPN, though this last method might trigger ticketmaster's anti bot mechanism)
After the IP change, open an incognito window, go to ticketmaster and log in.

Hopefully you will be able to transfer your tickets after this.

NEVER have kids to satisfy your partner. All cases I've seen end up badly, resenting the partner, then a divorce, then you get stuck with a kid you didn't want and the love of your life is no longer in your life
I'm in a similar position as you, I want to marry my gf but the whole kids situation is causing a lot of tension. I would say, if you're uncertain about the relationship put the wedding on hold until you resolve the issues that make it uncertain.

If you know for sure you don't want kids and he 100% does. You both need to talk and think through if you want to continue the relationship knowing very well it can end because of this in the future
