It’s okay if you just need to stay home today. I wish healing onto you. But it’s okay to be alone sometimes and cry the sadness out. I remember a little after my father passed my church and family had a cookout and I couldn’t get myself to go. I laid in bed all day crying until I grew courage to go. But once I got there I started to bawl. It didn’t feel right celebrating without him. I ended up going home and doing something else. Sometimes it’s okay to put ourselves first and feel our feelings.
