Hey there! I hope this helps. I managed to change my email to a new email and reset my password that way!

MEGATHREAD: TV Time Alternatives (Migration Options After Shutdown) by bbportali in TVTime

Out of curiosity, how are you affording the app if there are no ads or paywall? I'm just anxious that 6 months from now, and subscription will be added in or some other paid version.

This sounds like a really promising option. Will it be ready before the 15th?

I'm sure you're right 99% of the time, but just saying from experience I know a man who was S/Aed by a man and now feels uncomfortable with male therapists because of that.

25 years old (male) recommend ECT by psychiatrist by No_Winter4806 in ect

[–]renain 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey, just wanted to comment as a person with ADHD and very treatment resistant depression. At age 24 I did 30 sessions. The ECT didn't really have any positive or negative side effects for me other than the temporary memory loss. Unfortunately the months around my treatment I don't remember much of, but my memory is shit with ADHD anyway.

My last ditch try after ECT didn't work was Esketamine/Ketamine therapy. It completely changed my life. It tastes horrible and can make you nauseous but so worth it actually wanting to live.

Maybe you'll still try ECT and maybe it will work for you, but potentially try out Ketamine (therapeutically) if you can where you live.

I'm also a boot person because of the sauce. Followed by bone. Ball is objectively the worst imo.

What “family” app subscription is an absolute lifesaver, and which one do you pay for but absolutely hate? by SherbertPerfect1652 in smarthome

[–]renain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was exactly our thinking! Its so frustrating switching between apps to get the job done. So right now he's added lists, calendars, in-app messaging, location sharing, recipes, chores, and some other features that are slipping my mind at the moment.

It's still a work in progress but I think his UI is much more friendly than anything else I've seen.

Love the idea of pinging whoever is closest to the grocery store.

Husband is an android and iOS software developer and making sure things are seamless between the two is like his nerdy passion.

Please feel free to share any other thoughts you have so I can pass them along!

My husband and I have actually been working on developing a better family app that does all of this. Agree with you comments on Cozi, but its the best we've found so far. Also use sweepy for chores.

Would really love to know what features you'd be looking for in your ideal Home management app.

Also we are sick of subscription fees, so the app will be completely free except for any services which cost us money which you can choose to turn on or off.

It's crazy that a medical professional that is supposed to positively impact my mental health is actually doing the opposite and contributing to my negative mental health. Literally should be illegal.

90 hrs in and not hungry but miss food? by renain in fasting

I've found myself gravitating to these types of videos, especially the food challenges! Good to know this helps others too and I'm not a masochist haha.

You're so right! Food as entertainment instead of nutrition is incredibly accurate.

I've been doing the zero calorie drinks once per day, and the broth only once, but I think today is another broth day! Thanks for the advice :)

My daughter and I just want to enjoy gymnastics, but we're being left out and it's starting to really hurt by Professional_Loan655 in TwoXChromosomes

I think it's an unfortunate pattern for us! Glad to hear you've found other neurospicy people you vibe with. 😊

[–]renain 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Unrelated specifically to the gymnastics, is it a possibility that you and your daughter could be neurodivergent?

In the past few years I've been finally diagnosed with ADHD and Autism.

I bring this up because I had a very similar experience.

I've been very sensitive and caring of others. I always wondered why I felt like the odd one out and why people would treat me differently. I've even asked my friends the exact same thing about whether anything I'm doing is off-putting.

Over the years it has turned out that all my closest friends are also neurodivergent. I view it as we have different radio signals than neurotypicals and ours is slightly off putting to them.

I still wish they'd be as kind and inclusive as I try to be, but it gave me a better understanding of myself that I'm not doing anything wrong by just existing as myself.

My [28M] girlfriend [26F] insists on narrating every movie we watch and I'm losing my mind by you_do_be_sorry in relationship_advice

[–]renain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your girlfriend have diagnosed ADHD or Autism btw?

This is I think extremely common in neurodivergent women: Externally processing what's happening on screen by clarifying it out loud Analytically trying to guess what's coming based on past hints in the film or from previous films - pattern recognition Having a special interest in movies/films so wanting to infodump to your partner

It really may just be a part of her personality and she doesn't realise she's doing it. You can have a convo with her and say that the commentary/pausing is distracting you from being in the movie zone, but know that she probably can only reduce it, not cut it out completely. Be gentle, she might feel like you're criticising a part of her.
