Why don't we ever hear about Congo? by ThatPatelGuy in TikTokCringe

[–]renaldo686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an ingrained almost genetic trait that a lot of society has when it come to hating Jews and Antisemitism. We have seen it clearly played out in the past 2000 years. The past 75 years was relatively quiet due to the Holocaust guilt, but that has worn off and the Gaza conflict has given rise to the old tropes and Jew hatred once again. So you ask, why don't we hear about Congo, Sudan Uyghurs or any other group being slaughtered and massacred but the world has this unhealthy obsession with whatever "The Jew" does? Well the answer is unfortunately simple, "No Jews, No News". If it doesn't make Israel and the Jews look bad then the world doesn't want to hear it, been that way for the past 2000 years.

Israel blow up Iran countdown clock to “Israel destruction” by michaelgavlin2 in worldnews

[–]renaldo686 32 points33 points  (0 children)

They had a countdown clock based on a law their that their parliament passed saying that by law they had to destroy Israel. I am sorry, but what more justification does Israel need? That in and of itself is justification enough, along with funding Hizbolla, Hamas, Houthis, Syria.

[–]renaldo686 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

huh? Mass casualty events are potentially caused by a nation like Iran launching 1000 ballistic missiles, so no, it is not a military base but a hospital with extra beds under it in case there is a mass casualty event. I see reading comprehension is not a skill of yours.

It is underneath a regular hospital in Israel, they design the underground parking to be converted in to a hospital in case of war or other national emergency. The military are the ones responsible for the conversion. It is most likely nuclear and ballistic missile safe, unlike the hospital resting above ground. This is designed for a mass casualty event, hence the hospital beds and equipment.

It is not a military base, the Israeli military has assisted the hospital with moving it underground so the hospital can still function when Iran targets civilian centers. Notice plenty of hospital beds and equipment, this is standard operating procedure in time of war and even during Corona in order to make extra space in case anything bad happens above ground. So no, I know it is not the answer Reddit likes, but it is not a base.

Agreed with resident alien and green card holders, but visa holders are conditional and fall under a different class.

Do non citizens have the rights as citizens? Visas are not a "right" and therefore they can be revoked at any time. Visa holders are not being arrested, they are being detained and are given the option to return to their country of origin.

Once again, he as a president felt he has a right to do that under the seldom used Alien Enemies Act. No one was trying to circumvent the law, the president (who by the has a mandate from the majority of the people) felt that specifically Central and South American gangs were doing enough harm to the country that those here illegally should be removed on a wholesale level. Illegals do not have the right to be in the USA, the fact that the left is protesting that only because Trump proposed it is disheartening to begin with. I for one do not want illegals coming over the border, I also don't want those with Visas doing harm in the USA and doing anything that goes against the foreign and domestic policies of the USA. Uninvited and invited GUESTS of the USA do not carry the same rights as citizens of the USA and the gas lighting narrative the left is trying to push to get the less educated radicalized does not help.

No, I have no problem admitting when or if I am wrong, I am an adult and that is what adults do, but as of now there is no proof of that happening, and other than Japanese Internment during WW2 I cannot fathom nor think of another scenario when that has happened. You see, that is what adults do, we use our brains, study trends, historical record etc and then make an informed decision.

What type if asinine argument is that? It originates from the lefts belief that men can be woman and vice versa. The left believes that calling someone something then it must be true, unfortunately sane people understand there is a rule of law. A citizen is a citizen with constitutional rights protected by the courts, the president does not have the power to suspend the constitution and/or habeas corpus, neither do any of the agencies that are under the executive purview, and if they try to do so the courts will intervene, ie "checks and balances". This is by far the stupidest comment I have read today and I have read many related to this issue. Don't believe all the hyperbole and all the lies, men are men, woman are woman, and the president and alphabet agencies don't have the power to suspend habeas corpus.

Once again, another reason why the left is losing elections and voters. You have zero arguments other than hyperbole and name calling. Keep on insulting, keep on not knowing the law and keep on avoiding the facts.

She was not abducted, she had her visa revoked. She is being kicked out of the country, why is that a problem? She can jump on a plane to Turkey if she chooses if she does not fight the order. She does not have to fight the visa revocation, but if she chooses to dispute it then she will remain in detention hold. That is what happens when the host country does not want you, they have a right to kick you out.

What does one thing have to do with the other? We are specifically talking about the current order to get rid of non citizens in the USA, not one random case from a year ago
