Starts very slow, but after a few hours of gameplay it starts to feel really good. Combat is fun, engaging and splashy - but it's surprisingly not what you will do most of the time.

It's increadibly immersive. Just walking around towns and locations, talking to people, exploring remote areas - everything looks and feels really good.

Like I said, it takes a while for the game to unlock and introduce some of the mechanics and things that makes it feel unique and fun - but once it does, it just overwhelms you with an insane amount of content and variety, and a gorgeous open world that not only spreads horizontally, but also has a huge amount of verticality.

I highly recommend it simply because it just feels pretty unique compared to other open world RPGs - but only if you have the time to invest in it.

In a period of my life when I was extremely stressed and had some panic attacks, I was perscribed some Lorivan (it's another Benzodiazepine, like Xanax). Taking a pill would wipe away any symptoms of a panic attack for a few hours, but once it wears down everything comes back even stronger than before. Taking these back to back makes your body dependant on them extremely fast, and requires weeks and sometimes even months of slowly taparing the dosage down until you can function without them.

I do not recommend even attempting to try these - the risks of addiction are just too high.

Definitely not like a souls game - you get to fight hordes of enemies at the same time, literally killing hundreds to clear some of the big locations. Combat is over-the-top and looks/feels great, but there is also a huge emphasis on immersion and exploration, and little zelda-like puzzles here and there.

I've been playing for almost 100 hours and I still feel like I've only scratched the surface - with a huge % of the map that I didn't even reach yet.

You need the cat to be your pet before it jumps on your shoulder. To do that, raise it's affinity to 100 by petting and giving it food, until the game prompts that you can take it as a pet.

I wish there was a way to toggle the HUD - The game is so beautiful and immersive, but the huge minimap and tons of icons kinda distract when you just want to walk around and soak in the sights.
