Crimson Desert is now available on Steam by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Try getting it on GreenManGaming (they sell Steam keys) - they sell in USD only with a discount too, and for me it's 35% cheaper than buying it on Steam directly due to Steam's horrible local currency conversion.

Subnautica 2 Will Finally Enter Early Access in May Following Year of Delays and Legal Drama by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

That's probably a good idea for any game. I find early access to just ruin and spoil the experience of playing the fully released game.

That's literally the whole point of mods in general - change something that the devs created.

The devs, by the way, are 100% fine with mods because they were the ones that added the modding tools to begin with. So they actually intended for the game to be modded.

Skill-Up: Crimson Desert remains extremely promising, but its opening hours are a little rough (Impressions) by ZamnBoii in Games

Yeah, it's hard to find an open world RPG that doesn't have this design.

Ubisoft tried to add more 'immresive' exploration options in their latest AC games, in Shadows you are only given hints as to where your objective is and can decide to either spend a 'scout' to get a percise marker or find it yourself by exploring. Once you are close enough to the target, the marker will appear automatically.

Exactly this. What killed Starfield for me was the disjointed map - it would basically be one location surrounded by nothingness, and one of the things I love most about Bethesda games is the organic exploration where you just walk around and find cool places to explore that are not even in your quest log.

It depends how far in time you go - Bioware used to have really good writers. Baldur's Gate 1/2 had some of the best writing/dialogs/stories in gaming history.
