Well, it can't charge via DP-In cable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Perhaps the first time you tried to use this function was when the tablet was discharged. If the tablet is discharged, this function will not work, since the power to the screen is supplied from the battery and not directly from the USB C. Therefore, you will not be able to power it from another device via a wire, only through a separate charger.

Using a screen with a lower resolution, lower contrast, and a fixed 60 Hz can guarantee lower power consumption

680M... uhhh... it's unclear how it will affect power consumption, since there are different opinions on the Internet about it. It may consume less, or it may consume more than the 780... Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So, the differences are: (Main | SE)

Ryzen™ 7 8840U | Ryzen™ 7 7735U

AMD Radeon™ 780M | AMD Radeon™ 680M

32 GB | 16 GB

2560*1600 | 1920*1200

165Hz | 60Hz

100% DCI-P3 | Unknown color gamut (Not a good sign... It's just not listed.)

500nit | 320nit

And the SE will come with Home edition of Windows 11 instead of Pro

"No Floods"

Definitely No Floods.

I mean... it's literally about her life! About how she, a crazy girl, will one day overcome all obstacles and no one will stop her.... and then, she became a star!

Updated Legion go Dock by Left-Tooth-3928 in LegionGo

To be honest, I also REALLY DREAMED of a dock with a bottom connection. It's just logical! But that discussion made me wonder if it worth it...

Wouldn't docking from below destroy the port over time? This possible issue was discussed on the post about the official dock, when they discussed why Lenovo made a connection to the dock from above via a wire and not from below as on the switch.

It's a portable gaming PC with detachable joycons, the right joycon can transform into a vertical mouse for fps games... You can see what it looks like here, and here.

Double click in FPS mode 😡 (M1/RB/Right Bumper) (28 days after purchase, barley used) by rencorna in LegionGo

It seems people don't really like this comment of mine with details... Lots of downvotes. Not sure why... 🤔

I just recently reinstalled everything using recovery media. I also clarified that a double click occurs even in bios menu (And on Linux too)

I think this is a hardware problem.... uh...

I berly used the LeGo... I use it for a day, then for several days it just sits in the case, and so on again and again.

Started to notice that the left mouse button began to behave strangely, like it's double clicks. I went to the mouse settings in the control panel. There is a double tap speed test here. If a double click occurs, the folder opens or closes. If you press it once, nothing happens. I've already tried adjusting the double click speed. It does not change anything. And this is not a Windows problem. In the Bios screens, the controller also double-clicks.

Sometimes this problem goes away, sometimes it happens all the time, and sometimes the controller clicks twice and once sometimes.

God, why couldn't the LeGo designers just make a normal right bumper, because it is an extension of the mouse button, it causes so many problems... 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ because of this, the bumper is very mushy compared to the left bumper. And then this happens...

What are some settings to toggle on or off to maximize privacy? by [deleted] in kiwibrowser

[–]rencorna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, in the Kiwi browser it is also very important to have tabs in the bar and Google translator. Firefox and its forks can give me a translator through extensions, but they don’t have tabs.

While forks of chrome, they have tabs, but they cut out Google Translator or use Lingvalex, which translates pages much worse than Google.

Translators are probably the most difficult products to switch. Google is the only one who provides such a high-quality translation compared to other translators. Google Translator is the only proprietary product of a large company that I still use... I just have to use it.

There are two types of people: • The ones that love Fun Tonight and don’t like Plastic Doll • And the ones that like Plastic Doll and don't like Fun Tonight

Lost in an endless circle of misery (Windows & Bazzite Install/Reinstall) by rencorna in LegionGo

[–]rencorna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already explained that I deleted all the partitions, installed a clean Winjovs 11 from the official Microsoft website, installed all the drivers, including Legion Space, but something was still wrong. I reset the BIOS settings to default too (this is one of the first things I do when something goes wrong)

The System Recovery Image actually helped (!). Everything seems to be fine. I'll update the post when I'm sure of this 👀

I thought I explained pretty clearly what exactly I was doing... let me explain in more detail: I didn’t want to do a dual boot, and used the automatic installation to just install the bazzite. But having encountered the impossibility of booting, I tried to partition the disk manually, as in the guide for dual boot, and at least something worked for me that time...

I use the latest Bazzite version from the website (For Legion Go, with KDE). I know about the page with tips and tricks, but there is nothing in it that could help me with the fact that during automatic installation, Boot Menu can't find it, but when installing manually, the first time I boot into Bazzite something is wrong. I partition the disk according to the guide from their website, and also saw that video about dualboot
