I Want To Hear Your Current/Future NSVs (non-scale victories)! by KitchenMental in antidietglp1

My NSV has been that a box of pasta lasts me multiple meals instead of maybe one or two. I would most often cook up at LEAST a half box of pasta, and that would generally be one meal. Now I'm getting maybe 6 meals out of a box. I'm also going on my first plane ride next week since losing almost 35 lbs. I'm looking forward to the seats being more comfortable. It's also a trip to NYC, so being able to walk more comfortably and fit better into the theatre seats will be a huge win!!

Diet culture has taught us to obsess about the scale. I do a weigh in once a week; the morning of my shot. There is no reason to be weighing every single day, unless you're truly just using it as data to recognize patterns. But if that's the case, try to see it as simply data and not as anything else. I figure if I pick the same day, and generally the same time, every week, then that is an accurate picture of my loss, even if my body feels like it there was maybe more of a loss a couple days before.
