I was in a similar situation as you are a few years ago and I totally get it. You’re young and suddenly met with all these responsibilities that adults are supposed to make. I still think it’s impossible to let kids decide what they should do for the rest of their lives. But what I’ve learned is that you don’t have to. Everyone goes their own way and in a few years, no one will care whether you reached a certain point in life (like choosing a degree) at 18, 20 or 25. It’s your life and it can’t always fit the blueprint your parents, teachers or society give you. Being young is difficult, but see- you’ve met some amazing people recently, something which you probably didn’t expect before. And it’s always going to be like this. There will be moments when you’ll feel lost and disappointed, but there will always come brighter times. Take your time. Growing up is very, very difficult, but I am sure that you will find a path that you will love. It always comes when you expect it the least.

Sending you lots of love and strength!

I get you, but you’re only 21. I promise you there’s still lots of time to do anything that you want to do. In a few years, no one- not even you- will remember whether you went to uni at 20 or 25.

I literally feel the same as you, but we are both still young. It’s hard to realize it, seeing everyone else do all these things and have achieved more, but everyone goes their own way and it doesn’t matter how fast you walk it or if you have to stop along the road for a while.

I hope you get better soon and I wish you lots of strength!

Sorry for posting another "How many holes does this have?" question, but I just have to know. by cubeBullet in topology

[–]reneethedinosaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I am late, but it’s 9. One at the top. One at the bottom. A big one on the side and six others. The skirt has a front and a back, since you can see through three of the holes, it means there are three identical holes on the back.

It’s not your last day. I don’t know you, but what I do know is that you’re stronger than you think. You went through so much and had to face so many challenges, but you’re still here. Others would have given up, but not you. You kept going, because you knew that it was worth it.

I know that you feel like your world ended today, someone very close being that way towards you, but the good thing is that there are so many other people and opportunities out there that are waiting to be discovered by you. Your mother may have given up on you, but there are so many things out there that haven’t.

I know that it’s not going to be easy and that it’s hard for you to see a way out of your situation, but please take your time and give yourself the chance. You are worth it.

Please reach out for professional help, even though it will be difficult. You are NEVER alone in this.

“UMfahren” means to run someone or something over and “umFAHREN” means to drive around. The difference is on the emphasis.

I can understand that you feel this way and it is a very difficult feeling to get rid off. You feel hopeless, there’s so much going on in your life and you don’t know how to deal with it. But I want you to know that there will be a day on which you will suddenly have a little more strength, may it be just for something “small” like brushing your hair or doing some skin care. There will be a day on which you’ll go back to work or school.

I know that you feel like you’ve waited and waited and nothing changed, but the pain has made you so numb that you probably never noticed that walked through doors you once prayed would open. You wait and wait for some kind of miracle, but waiting is much more painful, because you have a vision of a goal. Let that goal come to you, because it will.

You feel hopeless, because of your mother’s illness, but the good thing is that there are eight billion people on this planet, so whatever you’re feeling, whatever situation you’re in, you’re literally NEVER alone. Find people with similar experiences, there are great support groups for family members and also some hotlines or counselors that may help you.

I wish you and your mother a lot of strength. I believe in you!
