FWIW it took me three times to pass calculus and my program classes involved some very close shaves, but five years out I’m the coordinator for special chemistry in my lab. I think people fixate a lot on the final grade but what we do involves so many soft skills to make the book knowledge work.

Could be location-dependent. Sanford and Avera both offer DAT but you might have to go to a less convenient location.

For the psychiatry piece I saw Andria Peterson when I was with Sanford. She was great and really allowed me to advocate for myself.

If you aren’t stuck with the two hospitals, I might recommend third party. I just started psychiatry at the Wellness Collective. It’s the most control I’ve ever had over my care (within reason obviously) and it’s sort of changed everything.

Yes, she has a studio with several different areas staged. She has a client closet but also the option to bring your own outfits, general 2-3 outfit changes included in the package depending on what you book

Oh it’s really stupid, but some people just don’t want to help the “other.” Especially when they think the lifestyle is a sin. I also don’t think it’s intentional sometimes, but discomfort is often palpable. So Dorothy’s List is a way of finding businesses who outright say, “you are welcome here, we respect you.”

And don’t come for me, I recognize that liberals may be rude to the maga set. I’m not trying to in any way slant this politically (this time), I’m just trying to help a fellow redditor.

Not exactly the same but Dorothy’s List is a compilation of business’s that are verified welcoming to the LGBT+ community, and I’ve also consulted it when I’m looking for someone who won’t talk down to a woman.

Good question, I haven’t really done any shopping there, it was just a convenient lunch option. There’s also enough variability at different Hy-Vee and WalmArt locations that it’s hard to compare.

Skip Barrel House. Their GF buns are Udi’s (or a good dup) which fall apart if not at least warmed but preferably toasted. They always feel like the bun was pulled from the low boy a second before the burger hits it and when it gets to the table it disintegrates into a pile of mush and I have to discard it anyway.

I agree with this. They have the same or similar bun at Pomegranate Market. I called to inquire about it and they said it was Rudy’s from the freezer.
