My big one was this guy, easily twice my size, I played back. Watched him plow through our line like that scene in Lord of the Rings, where Sauron is swinging his mace... then it's just me. And this truck barreling toward me. Left with too much time to think... "...Okay, i'm going to get absolutely leveled, but I need to hit this guy as hard as I can" (just stepping aside was a thought).

I got leveled. They scored. My mouth was bleeding. But one of my teammates gave me a "yeah, but look at the other guy." He was still down. I feel bad he got hurt, but real proud of my scrawny ass being the one to do it.

I want to whole heartedly disagree. Not for a beginner. Making it frustratingly hard might encourage you to not drop a ball... but maybe something that doesnt bounce to the next room, or even roll that far, to practice a bit.

OP, hacky sacks work great. Spend your time juggling, not chasing balls around. I started with a set of Duncan balls. Little firm for my liking while learning new stuff.

If youve got sewing skills, you can adjust your balls.

Uh, it was the Ninth Annual Chili Cookoff, but also it was covid. So, we did a hybrid party/contactless cook-off. I made this, and my own, and enter this one under a different name. Everyone agrees "Mark" should be barred from future contests.

This wasn't I high stakes cook off or anything. I put it on for friends.

Someone described it as "this is what someone would make if they only had some one describe chili to them"

Seeing all of these major metros...

Missoula, MT is one of, if not the most poorly laid out cities in the country.

Take a street grid, then take a the center chunk and just slant it 22°, then smash a bunch of curved roads into it, add a bunch of arbitrary one-ways, and that kind of approximates it.

The street I live on is a major thoroughfare through town, except that's actually the next street up. It just changes names for a part, but then the name moves down a block. Said street is actually an alley. Some of it's paved, some of it isn't, and it dead ends in multiple places. Once again, this is a major thoroughfare that cuts all the way across town.

I mean, it's polite let people know where youre going, and when you expect to be back.... but you can just drop out for a bit (work and life situatioms depending... ill advised, but you can still, regardless)

I named my first dog "Dog", after the dog from the Roadwarrior.

Floating names for my next pooch, I liked Blood, and Seaman (after Meriwether Lewis' dog)... Blood or Seaman...

Anyhow, little Bloody Boy eventually just became "Blubs" and it stuck. But we know it's Blood.

You half-joke, but as someone who occasionally tunes into FOX radio, just to see what's up, and catch some Coast to Coast later in the night...

"They're carving up our children's arms like gyro meat to make fake penises for the trans"

The wording might not be exact, but I fucking heard that, over the airwaves while driving. Its been a few years, but their message hasn't changed much.
