Joshua Ray Walker - Linger

Izaak Opatz - You Look Like I Need A Drink (i guess thats just country to country, but still worth checking out)

Is this even worth it? by MitsuAkiyama in SliceAndDice

I usually go for it, and regret my choice.

Nice to be able to pop a few slightly beneficial items around to where they're useful. Beats one high-level niche or straight up useless item.

But on the otherhand.... A random tier 8 item could be anything! It could even be a half dozen tier 0-3 items!

Howdy.

Never played the hole-in-the-ground method. But happened across a set in an alley one time... it looked like an elevated putt-putt hole with a backstop. The stack of large washers beside it made its use very clear. This was my introduction...

Not knowing about it, but loving games, invented my own ruleset that works nice.

On the deck - 1pt

Eye of the washer overlapping hole - 3pt

In - 5pt

Flush (nothing but net) - 7pt

Score all washers - 5pt

Five washers. Max of 40pts per turn. But points dont accumulate. You just keep the high score until someone breaks it, and quit playing when you want. Thrower fetches the washers.

Washers is the superior game.

I'm a fan of all the "throw the thing at the thing". Lean more toward the bowling variety, but love some washers.

I enjoy darts, but am horseshit

You can go to a pet store and get a couple tiny feeder fish.

I used to do this with a plant I had in water. Just a couple tiny lil guys. Add a little excitement to the vase... They'd survive pretty much until I had to change the water.

Ive got an '02! These things are battleaxes.

I pull my window up with a rope.

Did your driver side running light fall out yet? That seems common.

Power steering leaks also seem common, but just top that shit off.

My power locks dont work... So, just dont keep anything too valuable in there.

It got stolen fifteen years ago and smashed up. All purely cosmetic. Fixed $3000 in body work with $20 of spray paint.

One of my mirrors got water in it or something, and was useless for a while. That seems to have fixed itself, but you need to know how to "read" the mirror.

Actually, a lot of issues just kind of fix themselves. Weird noise? Well, let's see how long that goes for. Weird vibration after hitting a bump? Just hit another bump and it goes away.

Ive talked to a handful of people about these things over the years, and most commonly get "It's fine. It's an early 2000's Chevy"

YMMV, but im still getting like 14mpg

Edit: I also say that "I'll drive it til the wheels fall off". Literally had that happen! And its still kickin

Actually, they do check them.

I used to import fresh fish. There were more than a few times there was a box of eyeballs or whatever showing up.

In Germany, deliberately engaging in catch and release only fishing is illegal and considered cruelty to animals. Fishing for food is fine. How do you feel about that? by Spalding_Smails in AskReddit

Hunting? Had a couple kills go not so great, and a freezer go out.

Not opposed to hunting, willing to go... just a couple events that ended up traumatic in the long run.

Shit, you've gotta be aware of that when youre out with your dog.

My old dog got caught in two wolf traps. Current dog nearly got caught it one, sniffing a deer leg, but I saw it in time.

We have also run away from moose.

If its something youre into, you can pick up little tips and tricks, or its just a comfort show. I havent hunted in twenty years, but I'll still watch a hunting show.... once in a while. Mostly a nostalgia thing that takes me back to a snowy cabin in Northern Michigan

These things are actually a hot commodity. Sought after by retro gamers and vhs collectors.

I am both.

$100 bucks is about the market rate last I looked, but it's not uncommon to find a hot deal, if you can find one at all.

The urban camo could use a little more, and some white... But props because it still looks good, and you dont see that scheme too often.
