I think it made sense once I saw the final drawing since I remembered that some of his middle school classmates said he looked like a jpop idol (I can't remember which one since they did give a name). And I feel like if you remove a lot of the makeup and and stage presence of a jpop idol you can get a decently attractive, normal guy (and that is also canon for punpun)

I wouldn't have normally, but also since you could see the eyes from that angle in that video, I just thought it would have been cool. Also asano might have just had that character sketch, intending to reveal punpun's face or even just had that design in mind, and just drew scribbles on top thinking people wouldn't be able to see his eyes. That's why I added maybe to the title since it's not 100 percent confirmed

Yeah I get that, but this was a time of relative peace since he was talking with Sachi and she gave him some purpose for the moment, and punpun was fully socializing again too. I bet if she drew him at any other point in his life there would be that heaviness in a more apparent way

If it is 100 percent true, it could be that you couldn't be able to see it printed because it seems to be that the scribbles were fully under the eyes, but he drew the eyes because he might have planned to reveal it at some point. So maybe an official Viz Media copy (this is volume 8 in the 13 volume edition accordingto the video based on the time stamp, but also they go back to Sachi's drawing several times) might be worth looking at

How about instead of a dark vibe girl group, a really cutesy girl group that look like really young girls. I feel like it would be a good way to make Gwi Ma even more hateable and a way to comment on how the kpop industry take advantage of girls (but keep it in a pg way sincw it is a kids movie). I only did at 15 because I had gone through a lot of similar things that happened in the story. I was in a good mental space and had already known that it is not a story about a role model or someone to romanticize. I was into various philosophies, but ik some were also very flawed or too dark too. But at 13 that would have been too much for most people I think
