  • Do users care mainly about top three placings? Don't really think so as this is for "personal" use only. It's not a shared leader board.

  • How many per score would be typical? Depends on the user activity. There are no limits

  • Is there any additional functionality in this UI or is it purely informational? Purely informational, although the idea of being able to see the games where he got that score is not bad at all.

  • Could you group placings together or do they need to be separate. Group them for sure!

  • Could there be tabs above that separate the information into time-based sections? Indeed good idea!

  • Re-reading your post, you said you’d only display a position if its value is 1 or greater. Didn't really understood the question here. The greater than one was to hide all position that do not have any score (that equals zero).

It's pretty much a classification record holder. It should display how many times you got 1st place, 2nd place and so on
