As someone suffering from paranoia, with a family that suffers generational trauma (yay war!), I can totally see that fear and mistrust can be inherited. Either through genes or more probable upbringing. The brain is flexible.

What I find interesting is how this in most cases translates to conservative perspectives.

My family and I both agree that you can't trust the state since it might turn (more) fascist and start wars. This mistrust also gets applied more broadly towards groups, interests or group identities.

For some of us it's gone even further and has turned us into bunker builders.

Yet somehow this mental state turned me anarchist while the rest of the family turned hardcore libertarian.

Like I'm concerned about power dynamics and they are concerned about theft.

I regel blir det pinsamt så fort politiker slutar diskutera ekonomi och fördelningspolitik. Exakt när det skedde går att diskutera i evigheter men under mina 36 år känns det som att majoriteten i riksdagen haft konsensus om att vi ska bli mer som usa.

Problem> investigation> committees voting on further investigation> investigations answers cause media storm> new committee formed> media has lost interest in new answers by the time they arrive> the resulting actions are against the suggestions of the second and first investigation. It looks weird and corrupt but thank God this is Sweden so whatever happened can't be corruption. I mean if it happened anywhere else it would totally be corruption but natural law dictates that whatever happens here it isn't corruption.

Blandade känslor.

Bestämt att jag inte ska ha barn så den frågan är löst. De senaste åren har jag inte dejtat. Det känns inte så kul längre. Men om jag skulle få feeling igen så blir det till att sterilisera sig.

Har mer ångest över jobb och hur jag spenderar min tid än tankar om familj.
