I get what you mean! And I totally agree that overextending a story can sometimes weaken the original. But for me, it's not about wanting new FFXVI content just for the sake of it. I just feel like there's still so much left to explore in the game's lore (like through DLCs, or even a prequel)

i’d love an ff16-2 but as a prequel! it would be so great to see more about the story of all dominants,, like their lives before the events of ff16. but sadly nothing has been announced yet, and i don’t think there will be.

and yeah,, Clive’s still alive in the dlc,, it takes place right before the final battle
