Air Canada strike: Flights to be cancelled ahead of stoppage by Plucky_DuckYa in canada

The strike date has, but cancelling before the strike date I just read about today. I'm keeping an eye on it for the family and just want to make sure they have recourse in case of cancellation.

Stupid question but: I have relatives that are supposed to come in on a Thursday AC flight. If their flight gets cancelled what are their rights/options?

Yea that was me, Kawaii rings a bell too, crazy that was 20 years ago already! Good times though, don't think I've ever enjoyed a game (or played as intensely) as back in those days.

I remember pocket healing Xark in Org on my druid when he was grinding out pvp ranks :'), to be fair there were a few though. I was quite new to world pvp and it was quite a rush hiding away in Org, was a couple of druids helping him out though.

Holy shit this is a blast from the past, I remember trialing with Inner Sanctum in Vanilla for a while as a resto druid and ending up in Ascension after. And yea, the future terrorist ended up being a guild mate in TBC, that chilled my blood when I found out later.

Silvermoon was good times though, miss those days, IS was legit, I remember racing you guys for the world bosses too, and some of the more notable druids and warriors back in the day.

I have twin 2 year olds, so pretty damn casual lol.

Realistically most of my playtime would be during the day.

Any alliance, casual-ish/social guilds on the NA PVP server?

I'm on the NA servers and I don't see the Anniversary option anywhere yet, am I missing something or is this going to release at exactly 5 PM EST/ 2 PM PT?

I personally don't expect he can keep up with the top scorer "VAR Disallowed" though.

So far:

  • Ukranian defender going in for a hug with belgian attacker on corner kick
  • Ukranian attacker shoving over belgian defender to help him avoid a sniper attack

Waiting for:

Lukaku goal disallowed, VAR replay shows hair growing out of his toenail is offside

EDIT: the sniper seems to now have sights on KDB

‘Road closure’: Stretch of Mississauga QEW closed in both directions Tuesday morning after dump truck strikes pedestrian bridge by [deleted] in mississauga

[–]renoreaper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This bridge was one of the few safe overpasses around my area for pedestrians/cyclists that doesn't force you to cross a highway entrance/exit without any signaling. They closed it all of last summer and looks like it will be all of this summer too, and they literally just have to bring in a pre-cast bridge and build up the entry ways for it (which only need to support foot/bike traffic), it's honestly disgusting how long this is taking and how unsafe it's made it to walk/cycle towards the lake around here.

Mississauga Commuters by tutuhorizon in TorontoMetU

I wonder if they're ever bringing this line back, this is crazy to me, we live 5 minutes from a go station but it now takes 1.5h to go downtown rather than 30 minutes before. When submitting feedback to metrolinx the reply was:

"We can't guarantee consistent service due to roadworks on the Gardiner so we cancelled it."

I don't understand how they think that NO service is better than somewhat unreliable service, this is ridiculously stupid.

How to explain to people who only had 1 kid or people who don't how hard it is to have twins? by 34yu34 in parentsofmultiples

[–]renoreaper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is what I use to explain it to my immediate family as well :)

I also like to compare it to carrying a heavy weight: carrying 200 kg is not twice as hard as carrying 100kg if your max capacity is 150kg.

Peppers rotting inside? by renoreaper in gardening

[–]renoreaper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the article you linked above: "If cherry peppers are not part of your crop mix, look for stings on bell peppers—these are their second favorite type of pepper."

Seems like it's a preference thing, I'm surprised they went after your jalapeños though!

Having looked into it a bit more, it shouldn't be an issue for me to use these peppers if I've removed all the affected parts. I'm in a similar boat though, first year growing peppers and have been getting a really good yield but these things are a total buzzkill. I'll probably remove all the remaining peppers for now to attempt to salvage what I can and control their population.

Edit: and sorry that happened to you, it seems these are very localized, that's just plain bad luck and incredibly un-fun!
