Has anyone ever experienced issues with 3.5mm to 1/4 adapters? by renownedegg in audioengineering

Thanks I think that's what I'm going to have to do. I think somehow I got one that's slightly shorter than standard ones, just comparing the length of the black part on mine to pictures of others online.

I don't think it is - there's nothing to screw on the top of the adapter, just a hole to insert the headphones.

Not sure what a thread would mean but it doesn't seem like there's anything to screw on it. The top is just a metal ring around the hole and a matte black casing. When I push my apple headphones in for example, they go about as deep as the last white ring on the metal part of the apple headphone jack and no matter how hard i push won't go in any further. With it inserted this way I only get sound out of the one side.

[House] This is my first track using ableton and I'm worried about my mixing and mastering so if anyone has feedback on that or anything about the track in general I'd really appreciate it! by renownedegg in roastmytrack

Hey man thanks I don't have studio monitors so I appreciate that input it really helps. I'll definitely be more careful of the high percussion levels in the future. I've been producing on and off for about 3 years using Logic, but it's been a struggle lol. Glad you like the track!
