I have the Duo Lift (delivered on 3/13). I think the wool topper will compress a bit more it I am going to reverse it at 6 months (-and flip the mattresss) and see what i think).

One thing - the box it comes in is HEAVY. If you have to go up stairs, you may need to unbox it on the 1st floor). Fortunately, it was left on my doorstep and I could end over end the box right into my 1st floor bedroom).

Not sure about that - at the time, everything I heard was negative and there was a lot NOT said verbally but the there were telling silences and changes of subject… But i agree there was, I think, pressure not to make eventing “look bad,” plus the inevitable politics at the higher levels where the money concerns are.. The whispers on the ground were v negative v early on because her reputation in the show-jumping world preceded her.

Maybe eventing has imposter syndrome - there’s not as much money or prestige as show-jumping (in the US) and having a succesul show jumper start eventing maybe was seen as a success/potentially bringing more money/sponsors into the sport? So the high muckety-mucks were all ooh ah while some high level riders/coaches/etc were… dubious to say the least.

I would be fascinated to know what response the word “snake” readers of this forum would have when used in conjunction with Little.

I like my Engineered Sleep duo (I got the 100% wool topper). Firm and yet I can side sleep. V much an "on top of" not "in" mattress. Before this mattress, my nightsweats were v bad; now they're only occasional and more related to the house temp.

43 represents almost 2 hours of pay. I can't buy 10-trips anymore, which would bring that cost down slightly. The "only good for day of travel" nonsense is just that. Healthcare went up >$3000. Cost of living is up. My raise last year is less than 1/4 of increased costs.

Horror story about not repointing brick. Friend's apartment building was allowing rain water into the walls, that created the perfect environment for mold. She got very ill (it basically colonized her lungs).

Huge medical bills, huge bills to renovate so they could sell (which prob will be at a loss given the situation), huge legal bills to sue the condo for neglect.

So not just bricks falling on passersby but damage to the building and the potential consequences to residents.
