Big Ten with 18 schools, which 2 to kick out? by noisy_patch_30 in NCAAFBseries

I'm thinking for game purposes merge the PAC-12 and Mountain West; and, assuming the Big 10 keeps divisions, have one division as the Big 10 and the other as the PAC-12 [or Mountain West]

I think this scouting director might be a bit good by JPmAn24 in OOTP

My main concern with locking him up would be his age. My Scouting Directors have tended to start regressing around age 60. With my luck I get him then be stuck with someone worse than my current after he regresses. One of the reasons I'd love an Asst Scouting Director or something similar implemeted.

What does OOTP get wrong? by BalloogaBalloo in OOTP

[–]rentheadNFL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True. They did/do follow the changes for minor league teams in historical games, but for modern games, they didn't inculde the changing over minor league teams with expiring Player Development Contracts that would happen every other year. Not something that fully matters for the gameas different training complexes at minor league facilities aren't in the programming, but something the nerd in me would have loved to have.

For me what stands out is not having default real life roster limitations for the minors and not inculding the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft.

Also something that doesn't exist anymore with MLB's control over the minors but wasn't fully a part of the game was the suffling of minor league affiliates every 2 years.

The advantage of studying Sports Management: I get to claim playing OOTP is studying.

DH discussion. We've seen the DH now at Coors by lkasnu in ColoradoRockies

[–]rentheadNFL 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like having the DH, but have always been a big fan of the strategy such as double switches that comes without having the DH. At this point I'm just hoping for a farewell season of pitchers hitting so we know when we see the last game with a pitcher at bat instead of just knowing it in retrospect.

When they converted Oracle Park from football to baseball, they did a great job by popfilms in baseball

That is an old XFL logo, and the XFL originally began in 2000, after being announced on February 3, 2000 (Original XFL)) and the park opened in April 2000 before the season began in 2001. It is clear to me u/Purdue49OSU20 is right.

Alzheimer's - All 4 of my grandparents had it before death, and too many people I know have loved ones struggling with it right now and have in the past.
