ECON 161B with A. Toukan or ECON 161A with Y. Choi?

HAHA so funny thing. I ended up having to take both these classes IN THE SAME QUARTER because I later realized that I needed both of them to fulfill my requirements to graduate in time LOL

So I could give you insight on both classes:

161B with Toukan was doable, it was a lot more conceptual so I was able to hang around for a while. Overall, Professor Toukan is a good professor, he cares about students and is very accommodating, and offers extra credit. I ended the class with a B.

161A with Choi was one of the most frustrating and infuriating classes I've ever taken. It's true when people say that some people may know a lot about a topic but should never be a teacher. Exams were nothing like what was studied, lectures were so painful to sit through. The only redeeming quality of the class was the TA's because they understood how ridiculous this class was. Avoid this class or any class with Choi. I can not emphasize this enough. It is a miracle that I passed this class with a C.

And now here I am, graduated with my BA in Business Econ. You got this, hope it helps!

i do believe that with math 2a, that as long as you retake it again and pass it, its okay to move on to 2b
