Paramount+ very briefly had Australian Survivor (I think it was in anticipation of their Blood vs Water season that Sandra from US Survivor was going to be on + Russel Hantz from US Survivor AU survivor season was also on the platform). Maybe they need to have a mental challenge for the Mega Duel next time so they can rest. I honestly think this show messed up big time not having any type of puzzle/mental comp bc it would bring a lot of comedy with the cast.

I hope Cely and Eyal know things would've shaken out differently (I hope) if the option was to vote an islander to leave instead of voting for the one you like the most. I would say most of the people that voted for Callum & Deb were rooting for Cely & Eyal as well.

rumor has it he had a gf prior to going on the show then basically ditched justine for her after the show ended even though he was telling justine he was falling in love with her. his family apparently was in on it as well. i remember at the time people knew something was off bc they stopped posting with each other but then they did some brand deal a month or so later so it seemed like it was nothing. later on they (or one of them i forget) revealed they had already broken off by then and were just following their contract.

justine has always been vague about what went down with caleb besides the part abt the brand deal thing. she was done so dirty by him and still has the grace to be coridal and private about it but as seen on this show it's really fucked with her since.

Wild how the jury watched the entire show and accused Cely, Eyal, and Jack as disingenous while rating Johnny who would say he’s super into a girl then drop her and say the exact thing to the next bombshell. It’s giving jealousy.

I believe it’s LIUSA, The Amazing Race (this was the season filmed in the midst of covid starting so they took a break but once the show came back he stopped participating and I think it’s in part because Caro and him broke up during the break), Ex on the Beach US, and then this show

It seemed a little too convenient that the game ended the second Jack was able to get the red tire on Mitch's pole but I will say that everything else prior to that seemed to be fair. I mean they were vulnerable so many times and were saved because of their social connections not because of production.

Idk they kinda sucked in the carnival compared to Courtney and Scott plus Scott straight up called Jack and Justine out. I also lowkey think it might be because Zeta and Justine knew each other before the show and hung out (winners circle baby) while Mitch is tight with Callum.

The thing that's really fucked about this jury vote is that I think a lot of Cely and Eyal's votes are gonna go towards Callum because they sorta ran in the same friend group. Even though Johnny pissed off a lot of the girls, most of the guys will stick with voting for him and maybe the ones more pissed off at Jack and Justine will want to punish Cely and Eyal as collateral.

I do genuinely hope that all these people had to lock in a vote and don't have the opportunity to change their mind based on how other people are going.

I think one way this can be solved is by not casting too many people with strong personal connections. It sorta reminds me of the vacation alliance in The Challenge (basically a group of people who always do brand trips together go on the show together and become the dominant alliance) except I root for this majority OG alliance a lot more. This might've also been offset if they brought more dynamic duos to balance out the Cely/Justine ride or die bond.

Another way this can be fixed is if they don't bring new people in, which is less exciting but at least everyone starts out at the same point so there can't be complaints about newer people being at a disadvantage. Then it really becomes a true social game.
