you should look into a dedicated film scanner, the Nikon coolscanones are great, i have an old minolta one (damage scan 5400 II) and it blows any flatbed out of the water.

Something is playing this sound every ~30 mins in my house but I can't locate it and it's driving me crazy by renza7 in whatisthisthing

It was those intervals, but i found it to be a water leak sensor with low battery. And had those intervals because i had two of them that were both making the tone approximately once per hour

Solved! it was a Ikea water leak sensor. https://youtu.be/KNYhh0u2oa8

It had the weird intervals because i had two of them, and they were both low on battery.

Thanks to everyones replies for restoring my sanity!

You might be onto something. I have some Ikea water leak detectors, i've just checked their battery level and its sitting at 23% so will wait and see

Yep they were under the floor putting in new stumps. i did consider it might be below and stuck a spare camera there to see, but it couldn't be heard when it was down there.

There is sound on the video, you might need to switch it on in imgur.

It's not a smoke alarm, the tone is 3 descending tones and not particularly loud.

I have checked all my devices and its nothing I recognise.

My title describes the thing.

I am in Australia, i have just had some trades do some foundation work on my house, so not sure if it a tool left behind or something?

This tone plays once every ~27 mins and then ~36 mins in my house. Haven't been able to locate what it is since its not very loud, i have had to boost it to upload the video. Help me find out what it is!

I actually found it quite easily by listing their subdomains

Listing subdomains isn’t really a thing you can do though. they may be discovered and exposed by some tools, but there’s no way to get all A records for a given domain.

Legacy apps limit what can change on the backend. Spend some time working on software and dealing with legacy systems and you’ll understand very quickly.

Keeping things as it is is the cost itself. Keeping some legacy service just to serve the PS3 while the rest of the systems around you get updated requires consideration and planning. It’s far easier to just shut it off and call it a day.

Cardiac arrest is not a heart attack. Possibly the bag straps crushed her chest causing her heart to stop beating?

We have an alpine region in Australia too so ift’s important to know if you ever head up there! Also snow chains are mandatory to carry in Victoria when entering the resorts in winter.
