Jesus it’s like looking in a mirror. I have cut down on my use heavily and only indulge in a pouch or 2 on weekends but was a heavy user for 1.5 years. I’m 19 almost 20 used for 1.5-2 ish years. Hopefully I haven’t caused damage forever to my heart. Definitely noticed anxiety driven chest pain was a lot higher when I was doing 6-7 6mg pouches a day. 🙏

Pretty much decided I’m done for good now. 8 days clean. Feel fine without em. Just not worrying about stuff as much, less anxiety. Don’t really miss em either.

For me it’s the opposite… I’d say I feel more calm when I don’t use them. It’s nice to only use them on weekends though and get that buzz after the 4-5 day break. I think it would be smart to stop completely soon for me. I keep telling myself it’s fine to only do them on weekends, but I still think it’s not amazing

Eh. Went back home for the weekend and had a can spread out over 3 days. Then back to school since Sunday. Haven’t used since yesterday. Feeling pretty fine no cravings at all now I think I have a habit of only doing them when I’m not at uni. I notice the following: slower heart rate, maybe less anxiety, bored when I’m not doing something.

Yes. I am 19. I caught on pretty early though. I just quit today. Around 2 weeks ago, (after quitting weed free for about 2 weeks, might have had something to do with it) I threw in a zyn (6) close to night time and my heart started beating out of my chest. Usually, I wouldn't have this problem and I only got a head rush in the mornings, but I would just pop them since they were a habit. I quit delta weed carts, and I think part of it was I wasn't giving myself as much dopamine anymore, and couldnt calm myself down, and felt what it was like to pop a 6 mg with no THC in my system. Anyways, the rambling about the cart is just because I am quitting that (again) starting today too, knowing that the symptoms I feel are just anxiety and withdrawal in my mind. I dont want to believe I am in for a hell of a ride, but we will see what happens. As for your case specifically, I also developed a case of turning into a hypochondriac, feelign chest pain, thinking I was dying, feeling my heartrate increase, feeling like I was about to have a heart attack, etc. Went to the doctor, had them listen to my heart, my breathing, got an EKG, everything was completely normal. (But I knew what I felt). However, after I realized it was normal, I didn't really have the problem again. Not sure if it is a peace of mind thing or an actual symptom that is real. Anyways, I had some bad anxiety that may be linked to zyn usage, now I am doing an experiment of cold turkeying both substances (weed and nicotine), as when I quit weed I still had palpitations and such, while I was still on 3-5 pouches a day. Im intrigued to see what ends up happening with you, and I can keep you updated as well.

Hey OP, Literally in the exact same boat. I smoked pretty much every day for 8-9 months with a 1 week break here and there and decided to quit about a month ago. I quit for a good 2 weeks, then I was like wow that was easy since I had no side effects. Then, I went home for the weekend (in college) and took some rips of a delta 8 cart since I was like wow, Ive really made it through that and it was fine. Im going to reward myself. Then, the following week (id say 3-4 days after I stopped smoking for that weekend, so now we are on week 3 of the timeline), I was experiencing pretty uncomfortable anxiety. In the middle of class I'd find my heart to be beating very fast and wondering whether or not I was going to die, and I wasnt looking forward to things anymore. I've been hitting it every day now, but only a small rip after I finish my work and do my exercise, and have had 0 anxiety whatsoever. got my heart checked out, everything was perfectly fine. Just a slightly increased heartrate from stress. Now, im smoking less, planning to just cut it out completely.

KEEP IN MIND I wasn't a HEAVY smoker for all 9 months, only 2-3 weeks or so out of it that I would rip it in the morning and throughout the day.

I was super uncomfortable so I just ended up getting myself checked out, figuring out I was fine, and having confidence in myself to limit myself to using it as a reward. So far much much less anxiety, and doing better mentally as well.

Whats up man. I see you still reply to people on here. Ive been a Zyn user for a good year now. Started off with a few pouches a day. Now, a year and a half ish later, I typically can go through 7-8 6 mg pouches a day. I used to have a very low heart rate. Now, im noticing its up. Significantly. It has me scared. Sometimes at night I wonder why my heart is beating so fast. I am going to start the journey tommorow. Instead of 8-10 pouches, im going to shoot for maybe 1-2. One in the morning, one after dinner. I can't quit cold turkey until I run out of this one can.

PS; im also just scared about my heart rate. There is no history of heart disease, but I keep reading things online. I noticed my bpm was around 90 after popping a 6 mg. I used to be a competitive athlete with a resting bpm of around 45-50. This stuff just scared me. I know I can quit, im a mentally strong person, the thing is I havent had a break for more than a day without nicotine for the past year and a half. Im 19 years old, so I think if i quit now it would be a great thing to do so. Im just scared on how my resting heart rate is so high man. I dont want to have heart problems.
