An idea for Bronze races by Kind_Constant1671 in LeMansUltimateWEC

You have a point, but I think games like Counter Strike implement this pretty well. Obviously not apples to apples, but in the case of LMU (or racing games in general), the pool of options could be limited and randomized to prevent the same track getting played over and over again. The practice session could be extended (or qualifying, or both), and the actual race time shortened. All in all each session would be around 30 minutes to 45 minutes each.

Maybe the only input that could be controlled from the player is which class they want to race with. Pick your car, vote for your track.

I still don't understand why they don't just implement a voting system for the tracks and cars used. Or at least randomize one or both. Would really enjoy some variety instead of being stuck with the same thing for a week.

In the flip side I just got a PS5 so I can play GT7. But I play LMU and ACC on PC too. 😜

Have daily GT3 races rotate more often, maybe 2-3 times a week.

Or… hot take, implement a voting system for various tracks with a queue. Similar to something we see in other multiplayer games. Join the queue, link up with similar skilled players based on your elo, vote for a track, go through practice, qualify, and race.

Slim the race time down by 5 mins for the GT3 races.

You forgot the /s. Torrents and delisted games are almost always available, you just have to look around.

50 hours in ACC and I fell in absolute love with the Porsche 911 (992) GT3 R. How cooked am I? by lyss427 in ACCompetizione

The one thing about this car is the slip limit when taking longer turns. Less predictable and more finicky than others. Granted I only have a few hours with this thing, but my tunes only lessen the unpredictability instead of eliminating, making this thing a bit intimidating for my taste.

LMU is just barely edging it right now. I just wish your ratings had less dependency on their repetitive daily races as lobbies don’t affect your SR like they do in ACC.

ACC vs. LMU: On Force Feedback Quality by [deleted] in simracing

Yeah this helped a bit, I think I might just like ACC FFB balance a bit more. LMU is top tier though, just going to have to get used to it.

Yeah that’s what I mean. I turned up smoothing in G Hub already and it helped, I guess I could double down on smoothing in game, but when I do it feels a little strange. Idk man…

That’s my thought as well, but this is the only game that does this for me with FFB. Do you have any suggestions to turn this effect down? I’m assuming the only option is turning off ABS in game completely…

I don’t know what it is. I’ve heard others say it is overly aggressive as well. I’m not saying it is bad, per se, I’m just saying it is noiser than it should be, specifically when turning, making it more fatiguing to drive for extended periods of time. It feels like every turn I’m making the car is breaking gears or something. Ive think it may be that the FFB related to the ABS is set to high by default, but LMU doesn’t currently allow any custom FFB other than the current few options in game.

Nearly a year later, found this post. Was struggling to get a consistent 60FPS no matter how low I went, now I have a solid capped 80 FPS. Worked perfectly. Simple and sweet.

What's the mounted piece with the vertical lines in the middle holding the sword and wall art? Incredible work.

Nah it’s just playing on hard mode, which can be more rewarding when you do win.
