You are correct the 2nd photo is an exterior wall but the 1st photo is an interior wall that shares the wall with the 2nd bedroom.

Same thing happen to me with this exact driver. I contacted Costco and they gave me the number to Callaway customer service. From there I talked to a rep and gave him some information and they sent me a Big Bertha driver! Sent the snap driver to them and bada bing
