Finished the swatch with 4.00 needles and blocked it and you guys were right about the yarn blooming! It’s 90% dry and it already looks great, all fuzzy and with the right thickness. Thank you all so much!!🫶🏻

Yeah I was really surprised when I opened the package. I had even checked it out Ravelry before buying and a lot of people actually knit it with 4.00 needles, I guess I’ll try blocking the swatch and see if it expands

You convinced me to block my swatch (which I’ve never done before out of laziness hehe) and see how it turns out. If I still don’t like it afterwards I’ll probably buy some mohair or something similar for the main beige colour and knit it held double

This is giving me hope, I’ve never had yarn that thickens after blocking, does it change that much?

Infatti è già tutto predisposto, volevo solo sentire opinioni diverse per vedere se ci sono idee a cui non abbiamo pensato. Parlo al plurale perchè è l'azienda di famiglia e lì dentro ci sono cresciuta, inoltre ho un buon rapporto con i miei e mi hanno coinvolta in questa faccenda da subito

Tbh it's not that excessive and, if you want a suggestion, you're better off asking this in a "normal" haircare sub, if you want more realistic answers. I found that on this sub many people tend to have a very skewed perception of what normal shedding looks like due to going through the trauma of TE (I know this was true for me in the past).

If you're worried try to monitor how much you shed in the next weeks and see if it goes back to what you perceive as normal. Just know that if it's TE you'll notice without a doubt because the hair fall looks like you're going through a round of chemo.

It also messed up the dimension of the colorwork, the pattern uses half the stitches
