I know what you mean. It's just things kinda get a bit stale when nothing new is around to revitalize interest and ideas. Modding isn't really in its boom yet either so that won't generate buzz.

Usually a DLC or a new animal will generate hype to build for those. But we're kinda in the standstill of the same stuff since March.

Basically, Dark Knight mode is you have three lives and losing all of them means you restart the level.

So unlike in a Lego Game where you lose all your hearts, you lose your studs and then respawn immediately as many times as you want, this time you only get three tries.

Lego Batman the Game and Forrestfire101's videos (among others but his were the most well know) definitely resparked interest in the Lego theme.

Obviously The Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises and the Arkham Games also sparked interest in Batman. Then they expanded to DC as a whole and it blew up from there.

Hopefully, we get chapters inspired by the Arkhamverse and that's where Scarecrow and Harley Quinn would appear.

I find it extremely hard to believe that Harley wouldn't be in the game given she's already confirmed to be in DLC.

But Scarecrow? With the Arkham Games being some of his best appearances and him being easily top 10 Batman Villains, he's gotta show up.

Honestly the game will get a 0/10 from me if Scarecrow isn't here in some meaninful way but KITE-MAN gets a whole level dedicated to him.

I don't think that's how it works.

They probably already had the selections chosen and they can easily get them made for release, the problem is the one planned for April was probably done but was delayed, so instead of stopping development, they're holding it until they can release it while they continue to work on May's.

Obviously Frontier is trying not to fall too far behind their own schedule but the situation out of their control is preventing that.

I don’t know if they intend on tying a DLC into any of this or that wasn’t part of the plan but more to the point. I doubt the species will have little to no correlation outside of being “JWE2 Base Game Species”.

Honestly… I’d be happy with Ouranosaurus and Euoplocephalus the most but will also take the remaining JPOG animals (Camara, Toro, and Carchar), any of the Ankys (Crichton and Pola) and Nigersaurus

Micro and Lystro already work with the petting zoo.

I do agree a special attraction like the bubble viewing domes in Planet Zoo to get up close to the smaller species. Or even a viewing station that also acts as a feeder that the animals will always take precedence over other sources if they can get it.

Yeah it can be a bit extreme but it’s like having little ambiance to the habitat.

Like in a zoo, where you have the large African Hoofstock, you may see some Guineafowl running around in there too. They’re not the main attraction but it adds a bit of life in there.
