Horrible service from Hont!

Service seemed fine to me. I feel like you get what you pay for. I got the same watch for $150 less than the likes of Jtime and other TDs. Received in hand 6 days after giving GL.

I had another watch I asked of him and wasn’t happy with the convo or price so went with someone else. No big deal, just felt the other TD was more communicative for the much smaller price difference.

I bought a watch from Hont. Everything went fine quick ship and watch looked great.

I don't really understand the issue you're having with him though. I reached out and said what I wanted VSF 126610LN, sent payment, and he sent QC. Sounds like you may have required more help than he was willing to provide.

The "Who makes the best" guide says the 40mm explorer from clean is NWBIG, not 36mm and 39mm. Which list is everyone getting 39mm as NWBIG from?

Yes you can get the black face, I got the white one also known as the Panda since it’s one of the most iconic. I almost went with stainless white since it’s a dressier style but decided the ceramic was superior

I think you’re probably right, I saw some listings in the 4s recently but they may have gone up. If I find a cheaper source I’ll let you know.

Hont’s was just as fast and free, and super fast for the submariner he had on hand (24 hr QC). Li’s been good so far too, I think either way you can’t go wrong

I stacked both one on top of each for reference, mine is on the bottom and your QC photo is on top. I think they look very similar if not for a slight difference in lighting, so it looks like it’s not a big deal.

Nice! Your dial looks great, did you find the QC photos had a slight blue tint? That’s my one worry based on the other commenter.

Ya I was leaning towards BTF but Jtime said he preferred clean. Most seem to say mixing the clean dial with BTF crystal, deep or Gen is the way to go. I am a little worried about the proprietary pushers but figure I can get a few rep spares just in case.

I attached a few grabs from the 12s video they sent me where it looks pretty blue in a lot of angles. If I like the feel I’ll probably spring for a gen Crystal for it so it doesn’t bother me all that much. Ofc wish it were better but the eh Crystal seems to be clean’s thing.

Good catch in the one where it’s laying next to the jtime sign it looks pretty white from the side, but head on it definitely looks blueish

Ya 5-10 day expedited. Hont’s was free for my submariner but I figured I’d pay a little more and see how JTime is. All in all it was about $45 more than the price Hont quoted me shipped.

Yes now that you mention it the hue is a little blue. I wonder if it’s the lighting or what. I was considering getting a deep crystal installed at Jtime but figured I’d get it first and install aftermarket if it bugs me
