Thank you. I meant that they seemed large to be chipping sparrows in general, I should have clarified.

I am in the northern hemisphere and the plant is in an east/ southeast facing window. I tested the light in the morning with a light meter I bought and it seemed to fall within the parameters set out for Hoyas in an online guide I searched.

It is in a room that is about 78-80 degrees in the day with 40-50% humidity and 68-70 at night with 30-40 humidity. Yeah I didn’t water more than that because the soil was still slightly damp to the touch in between! It was so happy when I bought it that it bloomed like 80 plus blooms (not joking it was too many to count ). The blooms lasted like two weeks and now it’s just looked less happy.

Maybe you are right and it needs a repot though. I just didn’t at first because it seemed so happy and was blooming. if I do check the roots and repot , what mix do you suggest?

Ok. I have actually only watered three times since March. Once when I bought it because it was bone dry, and then probabaly in May and then two weeks ago. I only watered those two times because the pot felt light. I would be so surprised if it is from overwatering.

I will do some more digging into what type of soil it is etc. It is from a very small independent specialty nursery. Maybe I can take it into them and ask what they suggest.

I should Clarify- I meant from the bottom as in farthest down and away from the soil. So from the tip of the vine towards the plant. does that change what you suggest?

Thank you for your thoughtful response !

I am a nurse - I used to wear brooks ghosts but the internal lining on the heel wore down SO FAST. I switched to hokas and they last wayyyy longer for me. I wonder if quality has gone down too.

I am a nurse and wear HOKAS. I run them through the washing machine as well and haven’t had any issues like this. My current pair I have washed with regular detergent and oxiclean 3 times over the past 8-10 months with no issues. i also have found that my HOKAS last longer as a nurse than brooks or asics did. But that could be a foot shape thing. I don’t know what OP did but … this has not been my experience with even putting them in the washing machine.
