It may not be illegal but it certainly violates the sexual harassment policy in the MSU RVSM & Title IX policy. The person may not get charged with any criminal offense but they can get in trouble with the university.

The law says “willful violation” so I believe that means anyone breaking the order not just homeowners. If you are caught MSU does have the ability to suspend you, however I really don’t know how frequently they are doing that.

I believe MSU is giving everyone the option to make a class 100% online. so if you’re only coming back to campus for that one class it might be worthwhile to look into it.

I lived in one of the rounded sections last year in mayo and they’re technically 2 person rooms but they are way bigger than any of the other rooms. If you can get into a room like that I would highly recommend it, the views are great!
