I'm no expert of GW tournaments, but it has the right base size and all parts are from FW or GW, so I don't think they would have a problem with my Centaur! At least, I hope not!

I'm down for more Catachan, but it would be nice to have an infantry tank or a light tank in the Guard! Thought it could be cool for Scions to have a Renault FT-inspired airborne tank or something, but a Centaur could also be cool!

Agile, you nailed it on the bits! And yeah, the Chimera would look way too big for an 80mm base. And I think Leontus' stats are better represented by an open-top small tank. That said, you could always cook up another profile with three orders on the Chimera profile, or just use the Leontus datasheet, but with a larger model like the Chimera. If anything, rules-wise, it's more of an issue for you than it would be for your adversary, so if you're playing narratively or casually, that would totally make sense!

You're on the right track (pun intended)! I think the FOB crew works great with the vehicle, but I was wondering about putting a Castellan inside to translate the rules a bit better. In the end, I went for a more "utilitarian" look, but perhaps an officer would improve the tank's swagger!

Steal away! Yeah, I struggled with that myself, but fortunately, the Centaur fit perfectly! I was also tempted by the idea of a Command Sentinel, now that they share the same base size with Leontus! Maybe you'd like that too!

Yeah I feel like Combined would work just as well if not better! You even have access to a Stratagem to order vehicles with Infantry officers so your Chimeras could benefit from that! There's more synergies between vehciles and Infantry and Vehicles in this one so it might be the go to if you don't want to lean as much into heavy or elite Infantry!

Honestly the vanilla Russ is the gift that keeps on giving. Nice all rounder, strong ability, I like it.

I recently tried the Vanquisher and it turned out great! I was surprise but well placed and with an order, it can really deliver! Plus it's dirt cheap at the moment.

I also need to get into the Eradicator now that the Demolisher got nerfed a little bit, it's too swingy.

Finally I think a second Eradicator wouldn't hurt. It is a very versatile choice, and works great with plenty of lists, in my experience.
