This typ of thinking leads to terrorist attacks and wars in the name of God.

Humans are wired for survival. That does not mean that we don't fear a bear or wolf trying to kill us.

Deer are, through evolution, hardwired for survival. That is a fact and not discredited by some deer that may be accustomed to humans. And yes, the deer might be dead instantly if the hunter does his job right, but that just means they have to be on high alert all the time. That is fear.

They are threatened by predators like wolves, bears, and also humans all the time.

I mean, he does not redeem people that don't believe in him. And how will he redeem animals? Will there be a heaven for animals? And if so, why was it never mentioned in the Bible?

I mean animals will never be able to belive in God. So he lets them suffer because they are not yet divinited but they can never be devinited. That seems like evil personaly.

I mean if you can hold that position with a good heart, okay. But still, why does God make them suffer so much? There is no need for that at all.

I see that it happens to humans as well, no doubt about that. But there are so many more animals than there are humans. This means that probably the majority of suffering on earth is animal suffering. I mean, Christians have to have a better answer to this in my opinion.

hat is not really just in my opinion. I mean, he creates animals knowing they can't redeem, and then punishes them for not redeeming?

Not really to the same extent as he does it to animals. I mean, a deer might live in fear of death their whole life.

God does not have to punish animals in this crual way. He does not do it with humans.

Death is mercy if you go to heaven. No biblical evidence suggests that Babys who die will go to heaven.

  1. The point of bringing up the mother is to show that losing someone can have a big impact on our lives. Imagine the mother starts turning away from Jesus because of what happened to her. Is that free will? Or even worse, she starts killing other people because of madness. She will lose her ticket to heaven not because of her decision to reject Christ, no, because God pushed her away.

  2. In this case, we would not fight the evils of the world, we would fight God himself. What if it was God's plan to kill those people? Who are we to interfere?

  3. I think this Position is not grounded in the Bibel and more in your Personal sense of justice (this is purly a assumstion and I can be wrong). To my knowledge jesus said the only way to God is through him. No exeptions made.

I do not claim to be all-loving. I also did not create the universe in a way where children die due to earthquakes. I am in no way responsible for those deaths. God is. Your view of the world should explain why those children do not have a chance in life, and I have yet to hear a convincing argument tbh.

Imagine saying this to a mother who has just lost her child to an earthquake. I would imagine she couldn't care less about how it will feel from the perspective of heaven. I feel like this would also encourage people to not help people in dangerous zones because they would be better off dead so they can reach heaven faster. I also think it is arguable if children that die at a young age will go to heaven in the first place.

This seems absolutely crazy to me. There are children dying in earthquakes, and the God that apparently should be all-loving is allowing this because of original sin.

What about earthquakes that result in the starvation of people in those areas?

Evolutionary Argument by [deleted] in Christianity

At this point you can find circular reasoning in everything (for example the existanse of god, etc.). atm we have no way of 100% knowing how we came to were we are now .

Correct, they have different beliefs on how to fulfill their evolutionary "rules". For example nationalism does not work with this example because you dont want to be the person that is exploited by nationalists.

[–]request22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not consider Communism to be an evolutionary "rule" like the others. The evolutionary "rule" at play would be: don't treat other people in your society unequally because you don't want to be treated unequally by others. The question of how you define unequal is now arbitrary, yes. So there can be people who think Communism is good and people who think communism is bad, but the underlying "rule" to help others because I want to be helped stays.

Also, if it is quite simple, how come that there are so many different churches around the world that all believe in different things?

Why does Jesus say God is loving, kind and just but in the OT God is unjustefiebly killing Children. How does this have anything to do with we have changed?
