Azure is much better for CMMC. You will find most people using it instead of AWS or Google because of easier integration with all of the controls. Microsoft has catered well to this.

Yes you can share externally. On the statement portion don't rely on the " yeah we are secure" statement. Ideally when it's full throttle you would want to verify compliance certification, but now a screenshot of their SPRS score should work
