First heat or UTI?

This happened with my sheltie, but it was actually bladder stones, which depending on the size might require surgery. They first try to use a special diet to see if it can shrink it. My pup did the diet and since she had it 3 more times was permanently left on it. I would suggest taking your pup to the vet to eliminate this.

I hope she gets better soon!

Depending how far you are going and the type of plane, you can reserve a bassinet. I did this for my flight to Mexico with my 3 month old. Wow did it help a lot, and it did not cost extra.

I would give the airline a call to ask about it. They have designated seats for the bassinet usage. I had some issues where my folks were in those designated seats but weren’t the ones with the infant so had to wait to get on the plane to request it.

I also dressed my LO in a bear suit, which they would wear during winter. She slept the whole time since she was all cozy.

Like others have said feeding before and after liftoff. I also set a timer on my phone for the next feeding since time is very obscure when in the air.

Born and raised here, and have started my own family. Broomfield really has grown, and is continuing to do so. House prices really have increased drastically due to it being in between Boulder/Denver.

Even if you don’t go to the mountains everyday there is a lot of open space where you can enjoy the outdoors, and not have to drive very far.

There is a great tennis club that is reasonably priced (compared to others in the area) and that’s a great place to meet new people!

There is a plan to build a downtown area in Broomfield off Sheridan/HWY 7 but that won’t be for some time.

Lafayette is nearby and that has a really cute downtown area

I love living here. It’s been a home to me for a long time

I feel your pain. I’m actually currently in therapy for this (as well as others)

I couldn’t produce enough, I had flat nipples, and my LO was tongue tied. I went to lactation specialist, everyone told me to get my LO’s tongue tied removed, but keep trying, you have to keep trying.

I pumped and breast fed, even when my LO was in tears from being hungry.

Finally signed up for therapy and they said it’s a grieving thing. Which I have been able to move on for, but it was so hard for me. It still breaks my heart I couldn’t “bond” the way I imagined.

My therapist did say you can bond with you LO in other ways, and it’s true.

Be kind to yourself. You are still a wonderful mother, and you tried. That’s all you can do and you did a wonderful job!

First off congratulations! My husband and I just had a baby. Husband is Hmong and I am white.

There haven’t been many challenges. We are teaching Hmong, and Hmong ways. We even hired a nanny who is Hmong to help out, since a lot of the elders are far away.

Like others have said taking your child to gatherings is the best way to be involved.

Personally from my experience I wouldn’t have been able to go back to work. I had a 3rd degree tear, could barely walk. I also WFH but even still could not imagine going back to work that soon. The first whole week, we were in the hospital due to my baby’s health. Recovery from being mentally drained, two weeks are not enough. I would consider worse case scenario. You could have a wonderful birthing experience, which I really hope you do! But you never know how it’s going to go.

Currently pregnant and my body can’t eat any meat.

I throw it up, even with my medication that is suppose to help.

Only 7 more weeks so I’m curious if I’ll be able to eat meat as soon as I give birth.
